The multi-purpose Ziploc
Well to follow-up on An Ant's Life it looks like my drives are ant free. For now. Since I couldn't open the thing up the thing here's what I did.
I sealed the thing up in a ziploc bag and tapped up the opening to insure no oxygen enters the bag. I left the drive in the bag for about 2 weeks. All of them suckers died, or so it seems. So far the drive seems to be working fine. I’m wondering though if one day an ant corpse left in the case may find its way to screw up all my data on the drive. Anyway most of my ant problems seem to have gone away for the moment. So for now I’ll just wait for the next thing to go wrong.
